The first stage of construction of the Esim Canal in Karakalpakstan has been completed, as repoted by the press service of the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic.
A decree from the President of Uzbekistan is carrying out this construction. Voris China has been allocated 19.2 bn soums to complete this initial canal construction stage.
Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that the railroad has connected the cities of Urgench in the Khorezm region and Kungrad in Karakalpakstan.
