Xinhua: China, Uzbekistan, And Kyrgyzstan Exchange Goods Worth $100 Mln

According to Xinhua, citing the press office of Lianyungang City, 2,320 freight trains have travelled along the railway route linking China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, transporting 4,640 containers.

The parties exchanged goods worth approximately $100 mln. The media noted that this has contributed to the growth of economic cooperation between the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries.

The trade railway route connects Lianyungang with Tashkent. The first freight train on this route was launched in 2022. The data is current as of the end of 2024.
