Uzbekistan and South Korea plan to increase the number of regular flights, according to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.
Uzbek Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov, South Korean Ambassador to Tashkent Won Do Young and Sangjin Kang, head of the Tashkent office of Korean Eximbank, discussed expanding flights and developing transportation ties.
Ambassador Won Do Young emphasized that Uzbekistan has become one of South Korea’s key partners, particularly in transportation.
The two sides also discussed a project to purchase six electric trains from the South Korean company Hyundai Rotem to meet the needs of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari.
