Cement Production In Uzbekistan Increases By 34.2%

In 2024, major enterprises in Uzbekistan produced 16 mln tonnes of cement, representing a 34.2% y/y increase, according to the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.
At the same time, cement sales on the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange grew by 58%, reaching nearly 6 mln tonnes. The average annual price of cement on the exchange stood at UZS 534,700 per tonne.
