Historic Summit on the Horizon: Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan Unite

The presidents of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan will meet for the first-ever summit, according to TASS, citing Edil Baisalov, the deputy chairman of the Kyrgyz Republic’s Cabinet of Ministers.
This event is scheduled for March 31 in Khujand, Tajikistan. Baisalov emphasised that the summit will be a significant step toward enhancing regional cooperation in Central Asia.
On February 21, 2025, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed an agreement on the delimitation of their state border. Baisalov described this document as a triumph of diplomacy and political will.
He highlighted that even the most pressing issues can be resolved through dialogue based on mutual respect.
In 2023, the border disputes between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were settled.
