Zara’s Parent Inditex Reaches €5.4 Bn Profit with Presence in Uzbekistan

Spanish retail group Inditex, which owns brands such as Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, and Oysho, reported a 9% increase in net profit for 2024, reaching €5.4bn. According to the company’s annual report, the growth was driven by continuous investment in-store networks, expansion of online sales channels, and advancements in logistics platforms with a focus on innovation and technology.

The group’s earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) rose by 8.9% to €10.7bn, while total revenue grew by 7.5% to €38.6bn. Europe, excluding Spain, remained the largest market for Inditex, contributing to half of the company’s offline and online sales.

Inditex continued its international expansion in 2024, opening new stores in 47 countries, including Uzbekistan. The total number of stores worldwide reached 5,563. Uzbekistan remains a key market in Central Asia as Inditex strengthens its presence in the region’s retail sector.

The number of active users across Inditex’s brand applications reached 218 mln, reflecting growing consumer engagement. Online store visits increased by 10% in 2024, reaching 8.1 bn.

Zara, including Zara Home, remained the most valuable brand within the group. Physical store sales for the brand amounted to €3.14bn, while online sales generated €27.78 mln.

Inditex continues to focus on sustainable development and technological advancements as part of its long-term growth strategy in the global retail market.
