
As of mid-March this year, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has invested $14.2 bn in Uzbekistan, according to data from the financial institution.
The ADB supports 32 projects focused on trade, social development, finance and energy.
These investments have contributed to the development of road infrastructure, the improvement of social services, and the promotion of gender equality in the Uzbek economy.
Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that the ADB will allocate $125 mln to modernize Uzbekistan’s water resource management.
