Who Gave Husanov the Benz-Track Worth $350,000?

Abdukodir Khusanov, the Manchester City defender and member of the Uzbekistan National Team, was recently gifted a Mercedes Benz G-Class by Ulugbek Asanbayev, a former player of the Kazakh club Aktobe. This heartwarming gesture was highlighted in a post on the club’s official Instagram account.
«Asanbayev presented Abdukodir Khusanov with a new Mercedes Benz G-Class,» the message stated.
Following his football career, Ulugbek Asanbayev transitioned into a role as a sports director for Shakhtar and Aktobe, and he has also coached Ordobas. In March, he took on the position of adviser at FC Andijan, where he focuses on player selections and transfers.
Narzulla Saidullayev, editor-in-chief of Championat.asia, noted Asanbayev’s significant contribution to Khusanov’s journey to Energetik-BGU, which marked the beginning of his international career. This showcases Asanbayev’s ongoing commitment to supporting and nurturing talent in the football community.
«At the age of 17, Khusanov faced skepticism from coaches upon graduating from Bunyodkor’s Academy. However, with the support of his father and the renowned football figure Ulugbek Asanbayev, he made a significant move to Belarus, joining Energetik-BGU. Asanbayev has played a crucial role in assisting numerous Uzbek players in making successful transitions to this club, demonstrating his commitment to nurturing talent and expanding opportunities for athletes in the region», as noted by Saidullayev in an interview with Belarusian sports media Sport5.by.
