The Stock Exchange of Thailand has suspended trading following powerful earthquakes, RBC reports.
In Bangkok, residents are being evacuated from high-rise buildings. Earlier, one of the buildings in the capital collapsed due to tremors.
Thailand recorded a 4.2-magnitude earthquake, with the epicentre located in neighbouring Myanmar, where the magnitude reached 7.7.
