Registration is now open for M360 Eurasia 2025, which will take place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from May 21 to 22. Organised by the GSMA, in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan and host sponsor Beeline Uzbekistan, the event will bring together policymakers, industry leaders and innovators from across the mobile ecosystem.
Ahead of the event, the GSMA shared key findings from its upcoming Mobile Sector Taxation Report in Eurasia. According to the report, high tax burdens remain a significant barrier to mobile internet adoption in several countries, despite existing network availability. In Turkmenistan, the total cost of mobile ownership reaches 51%, while in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan it stands at 42% and 40% respectively. The report suggests that reducing tax burdens could unlock socio-economic benefits and support digital inclusion across the region.
M360 Eurasia 2025 will feature discussions on mobile sector policy, investment, and emerging technologies. Topics will include 5G, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure. The event aims to support informed decision-making and promote dialogue between government and industry stakeholders.

Vivek Badrinath, newly appointed Director General of the GSMA, will deliver his inaugural keynote speech at the event. He stated that the forum offers a space for collaboration and knowledge-sharing that can shape the region’s digital future.
Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, welcomed the event’s focus on regulation, taxation and innovation. He noted the importance of dialogue in advancing regional connectivity.
Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan, highlighted the value of cross-sector engagement. He said the platform will help address the role of taxation, infrastructure and investment in supporting the digital economy.
The event will take place at the InterContinental Tashkent. It is expected to attract professionals from across Eurasia, including mobile operators, technology providers, regulators and policy experts.
M360 Eurasia 2025 is part of the GSMA’s wider M360 series. These events are designed to support innovation, address policy challenges and build sustainable digital ecosystems.
Registration is now open to participants from the public and private sectors.
