Uzbek Gymnasts Win Ten Medals at Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup

Uzbekistan’s rhythmic gymnastics team claimed an impressive ten medals — including two golds — at the third stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, held in Tashkent from April 25 to 27.

On the final day of competition, Takhmina Ikromova secured gold in the hoop event.

The team also earned five silver medals:

  • Anastasiya Sarantseva: hoop and clubs
  • Takhmina Ikromova: ball and ribbon

Three bronze medals were awarded to:

  • The group team in the three balls + 2 hoops routine
  • Sarantseva: ball
  • Ikromova: clubs

Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that Uzbek judoka Zamokhshari Bekmurodov won silver at the Asian Judo Championship.
