The average monthly salary in Uzbekistan reached UZS 5.7 mln (USD 442) by early April 2025, rising 18% year-on-year, according to data from the National Statistics Agency.
Nominal salaries in Tashkent climbed 22.7% over the year to UZS 9.8 mln (USD 760). In the Navoi region, the figure stood at UZS 7.3 mln (USD 566) following a 12.6% rise. Tashkent region ranked third with an average salary of UZS 5.4 mln (USD 419).
Over the past year, salaries in banking and finance exceeded UZS 15.8 mln (USD 1,225). In the IT sector, the figure reached UZS 14.8 mln (USD 1,147) while transport and logistics professionals earned UZS 8.7 mln (USD 674).
According to hh.uz, companies in Uzbekistan most frequently sought sales and service specialists, advertising professionals and fitness trainers in March 2025.
