Pakistan has warned of a potential military strike from India in the coming days, citing intelligence reports, according to Reuters.

Islamabad believes Indian forces may carry out military action against Pakistan soon. Tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbours have intensified following a terrorist attack on tourists in Kashmir in April this year.

Indian authorities claim Pakistani nationals were among the attackers. Pakistan has denied involvement and called for an investigation into the incident.

While condemning the attack, Islamabad has stated it is prepared to respond to any aggression from India.

Reports say Indian and Pakistani troops have exchanged gunfire at the border. Both countries possess nuclear weapons, raising concerns over further escalation.
