British carmaker Aston Martin has restricted vehicle shipments to the United States after US President Donald Trump imposed a 25% tariff, the Financial Times reports.

The company does not plan to increase imports to the US and will rely on existing stocks held by American dealers. According to the Financial Times, Aston Martin has enough vehicles in the country to meet demand until June.

In the first quarter of this year, the company’s revenue fell by 13% reaching GBP 234 mln (USD 310.8 mln).

The Financial Times also noted that American buyers account for 30% of Aston Martin’s annual sales.
