The Public Relations & Strategic Communications Committee of EUROUZ, chaired by Beeline Uzbekistan, hosted an expert seminar on advancing corporate and financial communication practices in Uzbekistan. Held in a hybrid format, the event brought together nearly 70 participants and high-level speakers from leading companies, international institutions, the financial sector, and EUROUZ member organizations.

The seminar provided a practical platform for exchanging insights on investor relations, corporate transparency, and reputation management. Communication professionals shared best practices on how companies build trust through consistent messaging around reforms, business performance, and long-term goals.

The agenda featured two expert panels: Panel 1 focused on financial transparency and investor trust; Panel 2 explored broader communication strategies for engaging government, clients, media, and society.

«Today’s open meeting is a clear example of how EUROUZ, having already established itself as one of the leading players in Uzbekistan’s business landscape, is actively supporting development of sector-specific expert groups on national level through its Committees—marking the next important step in strengthening dialogue both within the private sector and between business and government», said Oybek Shaykhov, Secretary General of EUROUZ.

Speakers from Finasia Capital, VEON, Suez, ADB, Montfort Eurasia, NMMC, and others emphasized the importance of message consistency, leadership involvement, and data accuracy in building institutional trust. The event reaffirmed the role of communication as a key enabler of sustainable business development.

«Today’s discussion showed that fintech companies are becoming increasingly engaged in conversations about strategic communication. This is essential not only for promoting innovation but also for building trust in new financial products. We’re seeing a growing demand for transparency, clear language, and coordination with public institutions, especially in a fast-evolving digital environment», said Nargis Dustmatova, Chief of Growth, Chairwoman, Fintech Association of Uzbekistan.

«The event served as a timely platform for dialogue with practitioners and professionals, fostering a deeper understanding of the communication challenges faced by international and local campaigns in Uzbekistan. It was a great honor to share the best communication practices of the Asian Development Bank. Additionally, as rightly noted by the Head of EUROUZ, Oybekov Shaykhov, many professionals work «behind the scenes, in the rear, but have extensive experience.» The opportunity to see firsthand, communicate, and share with like-minded individuals was truly invaluable», noted Nargiza Alikulova, Communications Officer, Asian Development Bank (ADB).

«The discussion demonstrated that communication is not just a support function for business development strategy — it is a strategic driver. It builds trust, supports economic transformation, and enhances the country’s international visibility. For companies considering an IPO, the way they engage with society, the market, and the government can influence their valuation as much as production outcomes or financial metrics. The ideas shared in panels serve as a benchmark for new standards for transparency, resilience, and strategic communication in Uzbekistan», emphasized Valentina Butnik, Chair of the EUROUZ Committee and Chief External Communications and Reputation Management Officer at Beeline Uzbekistan.
