The State Statistics Committee has calculated that from January to March 2025, the volume of education services in Uzbekistan reached UZS 8.1 trillion.
Most of the spending went towards higher education. Universities accounted for 45.8% of the total volume.
Overall, the education sector made up 3.8% of all market-based services provided in the country.
In 1Q25, education-related expenditures rose by 7.6% compared to the same period in 2024.
