Uzbekistan to Host GSMA M360 Eurasia for First Time on May 21-22

GSMA M360 Eurasia will be held for the first time in Tashkent on May 21-22. The event will take place at the InterContinental Tashkent in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Host Sponsor Beeline Uzbekistan, part of VEON Group.
The forum brings together government officials, industry executives, and technology experts to discuss the future of digital connectivity in Eurasia.
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, will open the event. He will be joined by Kaan Terzioglu, CEO of VEON, and Andrey Pyatakhin, CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan. They will highlight the importance of connecting cultures and economies through digital technologies.
GSMA’s new Director General, Vivek Badrinath, will deliver his first keynote speech in this role at the Tashkent event.
Over two days, the agenda will include sessions on generative AI, 5G development, digital ecosystems, and industry-wide collaboration. More than 40 speakers are expected.
Zarina Zeynalova, CEO of Azercell, will discuss regional digital growth. Dmitry Shukov, CEO of Perfectum, will present progress on deploying a 5G Standalone network in Uzbekistan. Oleksii Sharavar, CEO of Qazcode, will talk about the shift from generative to agentic AI.
Other topics include the expansion of data centres, new network architecture, and partnerships that enable wider access to digital infrastructure.
