President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed the law ratifying the Treaty on Allied Relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The official document is available on the legal portal Lex.uz.
The two countries signed the treaty in August 2024.
Uzbekistan’s Senate stated that the law provides a legal foundation to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Earlier, Kursiv Uzbekistan reported that Azerbaijan was the leading buyer of Uzbek carpets between January and April 2025.
