Top Ukrainian Companies Explore Investment Opportunities in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Kyiv hosted a roundtable on May 28 with over 30 Ukrainian business leaders — participants of the Kyiv International Economic Forum. The event gathered executives from companies such as MEGOGO, Uklon, Sense Bank, UNIT.City, and EFI Group.

Uzbek officials presented the upcoming Tashkent International Investment Forum, scheduled for June 10–12. They highlighted opportunities in trade, logistics, IT, and consulting, and outlined government incentives for foreign investors.

Ukrainian Companies Show Interest in Uzbekistan’s Market

Business leaders expressed strong interest in building practical partnerships with Uzbekistan. Several companies proposed direct investments and entry strategies.

Uklon’s Vice President Dmytriy Kazvan confirmed plans to expand operations in Uzbekistan, citing the country’s rapid digitalisation and favourable investment climate.

Firms such as Idealsecrets, EFI Group, and UIS shared that they are exploring opportunities in Uzbekistan’s IT sector.

Executives Highlight Cultural and Economic Synergies

Sense Bank’s Marketing Director, Oleksii Moroz, said Uzbekistan and Ukraine share similar values and development mindsets, calling the cooperation potential very strong.

MEGOGO’s Marketing Director, Valeriia Tolochyna, emphasised their ongoing work in Uzbekistan and revealed plans to support Uzbek Film Week in September.

Business leaders agreed that deeper partnerships would benefit both countries — unlocking new markets and shared growth.
