Admissions Open at Uzbekistan State Sports Academy

The Uzbekistan Ministry of Sports has announced the start of the application process for the 2025–2026 academic year at the Uzbekistan State Sports Academy.

The academy has launched 16 undergraduate and six graduate programs. It will train athletes in Olympic disciplines, as well as managers, specialists in adaptive sports, sports psychology, marketing, and sports law.

Applications will be reviewed by the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees. To apply, candidates must submit secondary education documents, copies of diplomas, certificates or awards, and recommendation letters from sports associations.

The admissions committee will prioritize applicants with strong athletic achievements and awards from prestigious competitions. Graduates of the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center will be eligible to enter directly into the second year of study.

Graduates of the academy will receive a higher education diploma and be included in Uzbekistan’s National Talent Reserve.

The State Sports Academy was established in 2024 on the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Kursiv Uzbekistan also reports that Uzbekistan’s national team won the Judo Asia Cup.
