The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have announced the conclusion of a large-scale series of airstrikes aimed at weakening Iran’s military capabilities.

The operation targeted a network of strategic weapons production facilities across Iran, focusing on key sites involved in missile development and air defence systems. These facilities reportedly fall under the control of the Quds Force and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

According to the IDF press service, the strikes specifically targeted infrastructure supporting Iran’s weapons development and production, including:

  • navigation and guidance systems for missiles;
  • air defence components produced by the IRGC;
  • industrial equipment, such as a planetary mixer for rocket engines;
  • facilities manufacturing fuel for various missile systems;
  • a factory producing surface-to-surface missiles.

Iranian authorities have not yet issued an official response. Information regarding casualties remains unconfirmed.

As previously reported by Kursiv Uzbekistan, Israel launched the airstrikes on the morning of June 13 as part of its operation «A Nation Like a Lion», targeting Iranian military and nuclear facilities.
