Temperatures in Tashkent Expected to Reach +40°C

Average temperatures in the region to hit +42°C
On June 17, forecasters expect air temperatures in Tashkent to rise to +38…+40°C, according to Uzhydromet.
Scorching weather of up to +43…+44°C is expected in the southern and desert regions of Uzbekistan.
In other regions, meteorologists forecast +37…+42°C. In the north, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s (6–8 on the 12-point Beaufort scale).
In the mountainous areas, temperatures will reach +27…+32°C. No precipitation is expected across the country.
