KEY TECH Conference in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent: Exploring Future of Fintech and AI in Banking

On June 26, 2025, the first international conference «KEY TECH: AI in Banking and Fintech» will be held at U-Enter in Tashkent. The event aims to become a key platform for discussing the role of artificial intelligence in transforming Uzbekistan’s financial sector.
The development of AI technologies is one of Uzbekistan’s strategic priorities. According to a Presidential Decree by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the country is implementing an AI Development Strategy through 2030, aimed at building a competitive digital economy and reaching $1.5 billion in AI-driven software and digital services. Globally, the economic impact of generative AI could reach $350–600 billion by 2030, with the banking sector expected to contribute around 20% of that figure.
The conference is supported by the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, IT Park Uzbekistan, the Central Asian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AICA), the Association of Banks of Uzbekistan, the FinTech Association of Uzbekistan, and the Central Asian FinTech Association.
