Gasoline Production Down 14.3% in January–May 2025

From January to May 2025, Uzbekistan produced 488.2 thousand tonnes of motor gasoline, according to the State Statistics Committee. This marks a 14.3% year-on-year decline in fuel production.
Oil production in the country fell by 11.2% over the same period, amounting to 270.8 thousand tonnes.
In contrast, coal production showed strong growth, rising 26.3% compared to the first five months of the previous year. In total, 2.4 mln tonnes of coal were extracted from January through May 2025.
