Jack Grealish’s Manchester City future remains uncertain, with the club open to selling the midfielder this summer, though a permanent exit appears unlikely at this stage.
The 29-year-old, who was left out of City’s final Premier League and Club World Cup squads, was made available for transfer early in the window. Despite placing a £40 mln price tag on the former £100 mln signing, interested clubs are hesitant due to his £300,000-a-week wages.
According to The Telegraph, West Ham, Napoli and Everton are monitoring the situation, though they may only move if the fee drops or a loan deal becomes an option. West Ham’s interest depends on manager Graham Potter’s approval and the potential sale of Lucas Paquetá.
Napoli are reportedly encouraged by Kevin De Bruyne, who has recommended the England international to the Serie A champions. However, Grealish’s high salary remains a key obstacle for all suitors.

Aston Villa are not currently pursuing a reunion, but that stance could change if Jacob Ramsey completes a move to Nottingham Forest.
Despite the speculation, Grealish recently told fans he “loves City more than anything” and is said to favor a loan move to maintain his place in the England squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Head coach Thomas Tuchel has reportedly advised him to seek a club playing European football to boost his chances.
Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand has urged Grealish to consider a move abroad, naming clubs like Napoli, Marseille, or even a switch to Saudi Arabia to reignite his career.
For now, Grealish is set to return to training individually at City, while the rest of the squad resumes later this month.
