Uzbekistan’s Guskov Enters UFC Light Heavyweight Top 10

Uzbek fighter Bogdan Guskov has secured a spot among the top 10 UFC light heavyweights after a dominant performance in Abu Dhabi.
The updated rankings, published on the UFC’s official website, place Guskov in 10th position — a rise of three places — following his emphatic victory over Russia’s Nikita Krylov on July 26.
The bout ended in the first round, with Guskov claiming a technical knockout and extending his streak to three consecutive early finishes. His professional record now stands at 18 wins, 15 of which came by knockout, with just three defeats.
The result proved costly for Krylov, who dropped two places in the rankings and exited the division’s top 10 altogether.
Other notable changes in the latest UFC rankings came in the middleweight division, where Dutch fighter Reinier de Ridder made a major leap. After defeating Australia’s Robert Whittaker, de Ridder surged eight spots to claim fifth place in the rankings.
Kursiv also reports that in June, Ilia Topuria claimed a dominant victory at UFC 317, knocking out Charles Oliveira in the first round to become the new lightweight champion.
