Uzbekistan will experience mostly dry weather today, on August 2, with wind speeds between 7–12 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from 31°C to 36°C.

In Tashkent, the capital, conditions will remain dry. Winds are expected to blow at 3–8 m/s, and temperatures will reach between 32°C and 34°C.

In the mountainous regions, brief showers and thunderstorms may occur in some areas. Winds will range from 7–12 m/s, with gusts possibly strengthening to 13–18 m/s. Temperatures will vary between 23°C and 28°C.

According to data from the automated atmospheric monitoring stations in Tashkent at 9:00 AM on 2 August 2025:

  • The concentration of PM10 (particulate matter with a diameter of 10 microns or less) was 52.62 µg/m³, well below the permissible limit of 500 µg/m³
  • PM2.5 (ultrafine particles with a diameter of 2.5 microns or less) measured 15.29 µg/m³, remaining under the limit of 35 µg/m³
  • Carbon monoxide (CO), primarily from vehicle and industrial emissions, was recorded at 0.30 mg/m³, far below the maximum limit of 5 mg/m³

All pollutant levels remain within the maximum permissible concentrations set by SanPiN 0053-23, which was updated on 27 May 2024 to include revised PM2.5 standards.

Kursiv also reports that the temperature ranges across Uzbekistan on August 1 were between 32 and 37°C.
