Weather Forecast for 4 August: Hot Temperatures and Clear Skies

Dry conditions are expected across Uzbekistan today with no rainfall predicted during daylight hours on August 4. Winds will range from 7 to 12 metres per second and daytime temperatures are set to rise between 33 and 38°C.
In the capital, Tashkent, the weather will remain clear and dry with light winds of 5 to 10 m/s. The temperature is forecast to reach 35 to 37°C.
In mountainous regions, brief rain showers and isolated thunderstorms may occur in some areas. Winds will generally blow at 7 to 12 m/s but may strengthen locally to 13 to 16 m/s. Daytime temperatures in these regions will range from 24 to 29°C.
According to data from the national automatic air monitoring stations in Tashkent at 9:00 AM (GMT+5):
- PM10 particulate levels were measured at 62.39 µg/m³, well below the permissible limit of 500 µg/m³.
- PM2.5 levels stood at 20.85 µg/m³, also under the regulatory limit of 35 µg/m³.
- Carbon monoxide (CO) concentration, primarily from vehicles and industrial activity, was recorded at 0.44 mg/m³, significantly lower than the permissible limit of 5 mg/m³.
These values are assessed against the updated permissible concentrations set in SanPiN 0053-23, which was amended on 27 May 2024 to include revised PM2.5 standards.
Kursiv also reports that the weather on August 2 was relatively at the same level, though daytime temperatures were slightly lower.
