Clear Skies and Safe Air Levels Forecast for August 6 Across Uzbekistan

Dry and hot weather is expected across Uzbekistan during the day on August 6. No rainfall is forecast nationwide, and winds will blow at 7 to 12 m/s. Daytime temperatures will range from 33°C to 38°C.

In the capital, Tashkent, conditions will remain dry with light winds at 3 to 8 m/s. Temperatures in the city are expected to reach between 35°C and 37°C.

Mountainous regions will also remain mostly dry. However, isolated areas in the Fergana Valley’s highlands may experience brief showers or thunderstorms. Winds in these areas may reach 7 to 12 m/s, with occasional gusts up to 13 to 16 m/s. Daytime temperatures will vary between 25°C and 30°C.

Air Quality in Tashkent

According to data from automatic air monitoring stations recorded at 9:00 a.m. on 6 August 2025 in Tashkent, the concentration of air pollutants remains within acceptable health limits:

  • PM10 (coarse particulate matter): 91.98 µg/m³ — well below the maximum permissible level of 500 µg/m³
  • PM2.5 (fine particulate matter): 27.66 µg/m³ — below the safety threshold of 35 µg/m³
  • Carbon monoxide (CO): 0.48 mg/m³ — significantly under the permitted limit of 5 mg/m³

These figures are assessed in accordance with the revised sanitary regulations SanPiN 0053-23, which were updated on 27 May 2024 to include new guidelines for PM2.5 levels.
