Dry and sunny weather is expected across Uzbekistan today, with daytime temperatures ranging from 33°C to 38°C. Winds will remain moderate, blowing at speeds between 7 and 12 m/s.

The capital, Tashkent, will also remain dry throughout the day. Light winds between 3 and 8 m/s are forecast, and the temperature will stay between 35°C and 37°C.

In the country’s mountainous regions, no rainfall is expected either. Winds will mostly range from 7 to 12 m/s, although occasional gusts could reach up to 13–18 m/s. Temperatures in these areas will be slightly cooler, ranging from 26°C to 31°C.

Air Quality

As of 9:00 (GMT+5) this morning, air quality measurements in Tashkent showed that pollutant levels remained within nationally approved safety limits.

The concentration of PM10 particles stood at 110.96 micrograms per cubic metre, well below the maximum permissible concentration (MPC) of 500 µg/m³.

Fine particles (PM2.5), known for penetrating deeper into the lungs, measured at 29.76 µg/m³. This figure remains within the updated safety threshold of 35 µg/m³ set by national sanitary standards.

Carbon monoxide (CO), commonly emitted by vehicles and industrial sites, was recorded at 0.40 milligrams per cubic metre — far below the limit of 5 mg/m³.

These air quality figures are assessed according to the revised sanitary regulations SanPiN 0053-23, which were updated on May 27, 2024 to include stricter criteria for PM2.5 concentrations.

Weather conditions are remaining stable for the last few days.
