The Asian U19 Boxing Championship concluded in Thailand with Uzbekistan’s national team taking first place in the overall medal standings. The squad delivered an outstanding performance, securing 7 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Gold medallists:
- -60 kg: Sevara Mamatova
- +80 kg: Sobirakhon Shakhobiddinova
- -65 kg: Jahongir Zayniddinov
- -70 kg: Abdulaziz Jurakulov
- -80 kg: Norbek Abdullaev

India finished second in the overall rankings, followed by China in third place. Kazakhstan secured fifth position, while Kyrgyzstan came 13th.
On Tuesday, August 12, the same venue will also host the finals of the Asian U22 Boxing Championship.
