Daytime Temperatures Across Uzbekistan Cool Down

Most of Uzbekistan will see a dry day. Only in Karakalpakstan could some locations catch a brief shower or thunderstorm early in the morning. Winds will blow at 7–12 m/s with occasional gusts to 13–16 m/s and patches of blowing dust. Daytime temperatures will reach 30–35°C.

The capital stays dry. Expect winds of 3–8 m/s with local gusts up to 10–12 m/s and some low-level dust. Afternoon temperatures will rise to 33–35°C.

No precipitation is expected in the mountains. Winds will be 7–12 m/s with gusts at times to 13–18 m/s. Highs will be 21–26°C.

Air Quality in Tashkent

Measurements from automatic monitoring stations indicate pollutant levels remain within national standards:

• PM10: 63.08 µg/m³, below the limit of 500 µg/m³
• PM2.5: 15.45 µg/m³, below the limit of 35 µg/m³
• Carbon monoxide (CO): 0.39 mg/m³, below the limit of 5 mg/m³

These readings are assessed against the maximum permissible concentrations set by SanPiN 0053-23, which was amended on May 27, 2024 for PM2.5.
