Supernova Strikers 2025 delivered one of the year’s most talked-about fights, as Alana Flores earned a unanimous decision victory over Gala Montes on August 17 at the Palacio de los Deportes.
Venue was sold out and the result was clear: Alana Flores won 30–26 on all three judges’ scorecards. The fighter from Monterrey raised her arms in celebration after overcoming an opponent who held a size and weight advantage but could not match her pace or resolve.
The evening began with theatrical walkouts. Montes entered first, styled in black lace and introduced as «The Bride of Mexico», though her reception was largely muted with audible boos. Flores followed with a dramatic entrance inspired by anime character Luffy from One Piece, arriving on a ship prop with fireworks and loud support from the crowd.

How the Fight Unfolded
The bout was scheduled for three two-minute rounds. Montes sought to use her physical edge, attempting to close distance and press her rival, but Flores relied on movement and quick combinations. In the first round, Montes landed several shots to the back of the head, drawing complaints from Flores’s corner and prompting referee intervention.
By the second round Alana Flores had adjusted, targeting the body and following up with overhand punches. Montes struggled to maintain balance and had her headgear displaced after one exchange. The momentum shifted firmly in Flores’s favour.
In the final round Montes resorted to clinching in an attempt to slow the pressure. During one grapple both fighters went to the canvas, but Flores quickly regained control, landing repeated blows to the head. Montes was deducted a point for persistent fouls. The crowd, chanting «Presidenta de la Raniza», gave Flores vocal backing throughout.
The Aftermath
Result confirmed Alana Flores as one of the leading figures in creator boxing. The streamer, who also heads Raniza FC in the Queens League Americas, secured her fourth title and remains undefeated following strong performances in recent editions of La Velada del Año.
Speaking after the win, she said:
«Gala has been the toughest opponent I have faced, but we achieved the goal. I never doubted my coaches. Thank you to everyone who came to support us. I encourage people to try boxing, it is a sport I truly love.»
The evening featured undercard wins for Luis Pride, Milica, Mario Bautista — who knocked out Westcol — and Franco Escamilla. However, the spotlight belonged to Flores.
The belt was presented by veteran boxer Mariana «Barby» Juárez. From ringside, actress Bárbara de Regil issued a direct challenge to face Flores at the 2026 edition of Supernova Strikers, hinting at another major clash to come.
