
Today, Uzbekistan will remain dry with no rainfall expected across the regions. Winds will generally blow at 7–12 m/s, with occasional gusts reaching 13–18 m/s, sometimes accompanied by dust. Daytime temperatures will range between 32°C and 37°C.
In Tashkent, the capital, the weather will also stay dry. Winds are predicted at 3–8 m/s and the air temperature is expected to settle between 34°C and 36°C.
Mountainous areas will experience the same dry conditions. Winds will be similar to the plains at 7–12 m/s, with possible strengthening up to 13–18 m/s. Temperatures there will be slightly cooler, ranging from 25°C to 30°C.
Air Quality in Tashkent
According to data from automatic monitoring stations taken at 09:00 on August 21, 2025, air quality in Tashkent remains within acceptable safety standards.
- Levels of PM10 fine particulate matter measured 85.65 µg/m³, well below the maximum permissible concentration (500 µg/m³).
- PM2.5 particles stood at 22.02 µg/m³, which is also under the limit of 35 µg/m³.
- Carbon monoxide (CO), largely from vehicles and industry, was recorded at 0.45 mg/m³, remaining far below the threshold of 5 mg/m³.
These measurements are compared against the sanitary regulations SaNPin 0053-23, which were updated on 27 May 2024 to reflect revised limits for PM2.5 content.
