Uzbekistan will experience hot and dry weather today, with no rain expected across the country. Winds will generally blow at 7–12 m/s, occasionally strengthening to 13–18 m/s in some areas, raising dust. Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach between 34°C and 39°C.

In Tashkent, conditions will remain dry with light winds at 3–8 m/s. The capital’s daytime temperature is predicted to range between 36°C and 38°C.

Mountain regions are also expected to stay dry. Winds there will be moderate at 7–12 m/s, with possible gusts of up to 18 m/s. Temperatures in higher areas will be cooler, ranging from 25°C to 30°C.

Air Quality in Tashkent

According to automatic air monitoring stations in Tashkent at 9:00 on August 25, 2025, the concentration of fine particulate matter PM10 measured 160.21 micrograms per cubic metre, which remains below the permissible limit of 500 µg/m³.

Levels of PM2.5 reached 40.71 µg/m³, exceeding the allowable limit of 35 µg/m³ by 1.16 times. This indicates heightened levels of fine particles in the air, which are particularly harmful to human health.

Carbon monoxide (CO), mainly from vehicle emissions and industrial activity, was recorded at 0.59 mg/m³, well within the permitted limit of 5 mg/m³.

Pollutant concentrations are compared against the maximum allowable limits established by sanitary regulations (SanPiN 0053-23), which were updated on May 27, 2024 to include standards for PM2.5 particles.
