Aviasales.uz, through its media platform Yo’lovchi, has published insights into the most popular travel choices for Uzbeks this autumn. Overall bookings have increased by 12%, with demand spread across both domestic and international trips.

The ten most popular foreign destinations include Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, China, South Korea, the UAE, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Latvia and Thailand.

Domestic tourism within Uzbekistan is showing strong momentum, with bookings up by 36%. Demand for Kazakhstan has grown even more sharply, rising by 41%, while the average ticket price remains at last year’s level.

Flights to Turkey have become more affordable, with ticket prices falling by 8%. Travel to China has seen the biggest shift: since the introduction of visa-free entry, fares are down 39% compared to last autumn and bookings have surged by nearly 46%.

The UAE shows the opposite trend, with bookings down 36% and ticket prices rising 16% after budget airline Wizz Air withdrew its flights from Uzbekistan to Abu Dhabi.

Bookings to Azerbaijan are also on the rise, up 12%.

As for inbound travel, Uzbekistan remains a key destination among Russians. In September, 21% of all international flights from Russia were booked to the country. There is also growing interest from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and several European nations.
