aespa’s New Mini-Album Rich Man Tops iTunes Chart in Uzbekistan

On September 6, the latest mini-album by South Korean girl group aespa reached number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in Uzbekistan.

Released on September 5, 2025, Rich Man is the group’s sixth extended play (EP), produced under SM Entertainment and distributed by Kakao Entertainment in Korea and Warner Records internationally. The EP runs for around 19 minutes and contains six tracks that span dance, hip-hop, R&B and pop influences. Its lead single shares the album’s title.

Rich Man was issued in 15 physical formats, including two Rich Man Bag versions, five Burst versions (a group edition and four individual editions) as well as four Energy and Rich Man Guitar versions.

The release quickly gained global attention. Alongside Uzbekistan, the EP topped iTunes charts in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Russia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Belarus.

In China Rich Man reached number one on the digital album sales charts of QQ Music and KuGou Music, while in Japan it led the real-time chart on AWA.

aespa, which debuted in 2020 under SM Entertainment, consists of four members — Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning. Known for blending real members with virtual avatars, the group has rapidly become one of the leading K-pop acts of the new generation.
