World Leaders Congratulate Tajikistan on 34th Independence Anniversary

As Tajikistan celebrates the 34th anniversary of its state independence, President Emomali Rahmon has been receiving congratulatory messages and telegrams from heads of state, government leaders, international organisations and prominent political and public figures.

Among the first to extend his greetings was President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who praised Tajikistan’s political, social and economic progress under Rahmon’s leadership. In his message, Mirziyoyev highlighted the close friendship between the two nations and expressed confidence that the long-standing ties of partnership and mutual support would continue to strengthen.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Xi Jinping of China, US President Donald Trump, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov, Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian also sent their congratulations.

Global figures joined them, including King Charles III of the United Kingdom, Emperor Naruhito of Japan and King Salman of Saudi Arabia, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman also conveyed his greetings.

Well-wishes additionally arrived from Nurlan Yermekbayev, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

The congratulatory messages praised Tajikistan’s achievements and wished continued peace, prosperity and progress for its people.
