Manchester City Thrash United 3-0 with Haaland Brace

Manchester City cruised to a 3-0 victory over rivals Manchester United at the Etihad in the fourth round of the Premier League. Erling Haaland was the star of the show with a second-half brace, while Abdukodir Khusanov delivered a composed performance across the full 90 minutes.
Recently back from injury, Khusanov was assured on his flank, cutting out several dangerous crosses and preventing United from creating clear chances against Gianluigi Donnarumma. His decisive tackle on Dorgu drew applause from the stands, underlining his importance to City’s defensive line.
Phil Foden opened the scoring in the first half with a header from Jeremy Doku’s cross. After the break, Haaland twice found the net past Altay Bayındır to seal a dominant win. United’s efforts through Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo failed to trouble Donnarumma, who made key saves on his debut to preserve a clean sheet.
Kursiv also reports that UEFA has announced a late amendment to its competition regulations less than a week before the Champions League kicks off.
