Anti-Corruption Centre Claims NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov’s Family Holds Eight US Properties

Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Centre (ACC) has reported that the family of National Security and Defence Council Secretary Rustem Umerov holds eight real estate properties in the United States.
According to the organisation, the assets include three apartments in Florida, one in New York and four villas near Miami. In his 2024 asset declaration, Umerov stated that his wife Leila and their three children live in the United States.
The ACC said the information was verified using open and paid databases, as well as sources in the US with access to property records. For security reasons, the organisation did not disclose exact addresses or apartment numbers and removed links to property listings showing prices, photos and rental conditions.

In his declaration, Umerov specified that since 2019 his family has been renting a 137-square-metre apartment in Boca Raton, Florida. The document states that he, his wife and their three children reside there.
Rustem Umerov, originally from Uzbekistan, was appointed head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council in July this year.
