Uzbekistan is making its debut at the prestigious Miss Earth 2025 pageant, and leading the charge is none other than Shaxrizada Madaminova — a rising star in the world of modeling and beauty contests. The 21-year-old Ferghana native, who won the Miss Asia 2024 title in Lebanon, is set to represent her country on the global stage at the Silver Anniversary Edition of Miss Earth, held on November 5 at Okada Manila in the Philippines.

From Ferghana to the World

Born in 2004, Shaxrizada began her modeling journey in 2020 and quickly rose to prominence through international competitions in Lebanon, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. She is also the founder and director of Madam’s Modeling Agency, the first of its kind in Ferghana, which has become a launchpad for aspiring models across Uzbekistan.

Her win at Miss Asia 2024 marked a turning point, earning her recognition not only for her beauty but also for her poise and advocacy. In interviews, Shaxrizada has emphasized the importance of education, self-expression, and cultural pride.

A Historic Debut

Miss Earth 2025 will be Uzbekistan’s first appearance at the pageant, which celebrates environmental awareness and global citizenship. Shaxrizada joins contestants from over 80 countries, including returning nations like Egypt, Sweden, and Kazakhstan. The event promises to be a dazzling showcase of beauty, intellect, and sustainability.

Beyond the runway, Shaxrizada is also pursuing a degree in the arts and has appeared in music videos and short films. She mentors young models and frequently speaks about the need for professional development and language skills in the industry.

«If you want to succeed internationally, you must be active, educated, and fearless,» she advises.

Kursiv also reports that London-based designer Omar Mansur has unveiled his latest collection Lapis Lazuli for the first time in New York, placing Uzbekistan’s iconic ikat fabric at the heart of his vision.
