Fugitive ‘Little J’ Arrested in Peru Over Triple Murder in Argentina

Peruvian police have arrested 20-year-old Tony Janzen Valverde Victoriano, known as «Little J,» accused of ordering the kidnapping and murder of three young women in Argentina.
Valverde was found hiding in a lorry in Pucusana, near Lima, after fleeing Argentina, where he allegedly led a drug gang. Police say he ordered the killings of Lara Gutiérrez, 15, and her cousins Brenda del Castillo and Morena Verdi, both 20, after accusing them of stealing 6lb of cocaine.
The victims were lured to a party with the promise of payment, kidnapped, and taken to a house near Buenos Aires, where they were tortured to death. The violence was livestreamed to a closed group as a warning to rivals, officials said. Their bodies were later discovered buried in the garden of the house.
Authorities also arrested Valverde’s alleged associate, 28-year-old Matías Ozorio, in a separate operation. Several other suspects, including the house owners, were detained.
Argentina’s Security Minister Patricia Bullrich praised the operation and confirmed extradition procedures are underway.
«This shows that when countries work together, criminals have nowhere to hide,» she said.
