Uzbekistan has introduced new rules in air navigation from October 2, according to the press service of the Uzairnavigation centre.
From now on, the country’s national airspace will be designated by the code UZ, while unified parameters are applied nationwide. The absolute transition altitude is set at 13,000 feet and the transition flight level at FL150.
The centre highlighted that these changes will make flights safer and more efficient, while also strengthening the visibility of Uzbekistan’s airspace on the international aviation map.
Kursiv also reports that Allied Biofuels FE LLC Uzbekistan has signed agreements with the Khorezm regional authorities to construct a plant producing green aviation fuel.
