
On October 14, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, president’s press service reports.
The two leaders discussed the further development and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Russia, with a focus on implementing high-level agreements in practice.
Particular attention was given to maintaining the steady growth of key trade, economic and investment indicators, as well as supporting joint cooperation projects at the regional level.
The presidents also welcomed the continued expansion of humanitarian ties, especially in the fields of culture, arts and education, including the training of engineering specialists.
