Clean Mobility for a Greener City
The new eco-friendly electric buses are expected to make a significant contribution to improving the city’s air quality and reducing pollution. With the ongoing fleet renewal programmes in recent years, harmful emissions from Tashkent’s public transport have been reduced by 93.3 tonnes per month.
Under the national transport modernisation plan, electric buses are set to account for 50% of Tashkent’s public transport fleet by 2030. The move aligns with the country’s environmental goals and broader strategy to reduce carbon emissions while improving accessibility and passenger comfort.
