Brazilian YouTuber Júlio Cocielo announced on Thursday, October 16, that he and influencer and presenter Tata Estaniecki have decided to end their marriage. The news was shared through a post on social media, where Cocielo confirmed the separation and asked fans to respect their privacy during this period.
«No one gets married expecting something like this to happen. Of course, it hurts, but sometimes things just happen unexpectedly and without reason,» he wrote. «Maybe it’s just a pause, maybe it’s something that will make us stronger – we don’t know. One day it might all make sense, or maybe it won’t. It’s difficult, but we ask everyone to respect our moment.»
Despite the separation, Cocielo emphasised that the two will remain united in their dedication to their children.
«Our work as parents never ends. We have a lifelong goal, which is to care for our children. For that, we’ll always be together, close to one another, maintaining respect, admiration and affection,» he said.
The couple, married since 2018, are parents to Beatriz, aged five, and Caio, aged two. Known for their humour and transparency online, they were one of Brazil’s most popular internet couples.
In his statement, Cocielo explained that they will not speak further on the matter, but felt it was important to share the news with their followers.
«We just wanted to inform everyone who cares about us, and hope that you continue to do so. Please, respect this moment.»
He concluded with a message of optimism:
