Finnish President Alexander Stubb to Visit Uzbekistan

The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations

President of Finland Alexander Stubb will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on October 30–31, his press service has announced.

During the visit, Stubb is scheduled to meet with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 31. The discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral relations between Finland and Uzbekistan, as well as addressing geopolitical developments and their regional impact on Europe and Central Asia, the statement said.

The Finnish president’s office added that the agenda will also include issues related to Russia’s «unlawful aggression against Ukraine» and cooperation in support of the multilateral system.
