Specialized Construction Works in Uzbekistan Increase by 54% in 2025

From January to August 2025, the volume of specialized construction works in Uzbekistan reached UZS 19.9 trillion ($1.56 bn), according to data from the National Statistics Committee.
This represents a 54.1 percent increase, or UZS 7.7 trillion ($603 mln) more than in the same period last year. Specialized construction accounted for 10.6 percent of the country’s total construction activity during the reporting period.
According to the data, the largest share of specialized construction was recorded in Tashkent city (17.1 percent), followed by Tashkent region (14.1 percent), and Namangan and Kashkadarya regions (13.1 percent each).
Other regions contributed as follows:
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 7.2%
- Andijan region – 6.0%
- Bukhara region – 7.5%
- Jizzakh region – 6.8%
- Navoi region – 4.7%
- Samarkand region – 3.9%
- Surkhandarya region – 4.4%
- Syrdarya region – 4.3%
- Fergana region – 7.2%
- Khorezm region – 3.7%
The figures indicate ongoing expansion in Uzbekistan’s construction sector, particularly in large urban and industrial centers.
