Katy Perry and Former Canadian PM Make First Public Appearance as Couple

Published

American pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made their first confirmed public outing as a couple on October 25, 2025, in Paris. The pair were spotted holding hands and smiling as they left the cabaret venue Crazy Horse Paris during Perry’s 41st-birthday celebration.

Their relationship had been the subject of speculation since July 2025, when they were seen together in Montreal and later photographed aboard a yacht off the California coast.

Perry had recently ended her engagement with actor Orlando Bloom, while Trudeau formally separated from his wife in 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

The evening in Paris marked a visible step forward for the couple, dressed formally for the outing—Perry in a red dress and Trudeau in a black casual suit. A fan reportedly handed Perry a rose as they left the venue together.

No official statement has been released by either party at the time of publication. The appearance is expected to generate further media interest in the relationship and how it evolves in the public eye.
