Uzbekistan Partners with Oracle to Expand Digital Skills and Education Programmes

The Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oracle following a productive meeting on expanding cooperation in digital education and skills development.
The agreement outlines plans to launch Oracle Academy programmes in universities and higher education institutions, providing educators with free access to training materials, software, and cloud resources. It also includes initiatives through Oracle University to expand access to professional certifications and digital learning paths, alongside efforts to promote awareness of intellectual property rights and digital compliance.
In collaboration with Uzbekistan’s Digital Education Development Centre, these projects aim to equip students and citizens with practical digital skills, preparing them for careers in the technology sector.
Oracle Academy operates as a global educational initiative offering free technology curricula and continuous teacher training to help bridge the global tech skills gap. Meanwhile, Oracle University delivers professional certifications and training in cloud computing and data management to strengthen digital expertise across industries.
Oracle reaffirmed its commitment to supporting emerging economies like Uzbekistan through its Skills Development Initiatives, partnering with governments and institutions to build local talent and accelerate national digital transformation.
